This is a final single of Neil's EMI era (Liberty/UA). But it isn't included on EMI CD compilation "Re-Cycled Vinyl Blues". So this is another rare single of his work. 
"What Noise ..." on A side is recorded by an independed session, but "Oo-Chuck-A-Mao-Mao" on B side by same session for album "How Sweet To Be An Idiot". This song is also included on Grimms "Rockin Duck", surely which is a same take to single take. Still, album credit says "special thanks to Mike Kellie (Drums on Oo-Chuck-A-Mao-Mao) only. He is known too as a member of "Only Ones".    		 EMI時代（Liberty/UA）最後のシングルであるが後年リリースされたEMI時代のコンピレーションCD"Recycled Vinyl Blues"には収録されなかったので、残念ながらこれもレア･アイテムの一つとなっている。
A面「What Noise 〜」は独立したセッションでのレコーディングだが、B面「Oo-Chuck-A-Mao-Mao」はアルバム"How Sweet To Be An Idiot"のセッションで録られたもののようだ。Grimmsの"Rockin Duck"に収録されたものと全く同じテイクであるようだが、アルバムクレジットにはドラムがMike Kellie（後にOnly Ones）であることが記されているだけである。
